Hello,

I’m Daphna Weller, a born and raised Tel Avivian and Israeli.

In 2023 I graduated from the language editing program at Tel Aviv University. I also have a BA in Art history from the Arts and Humanity faculty at Tel Aviv University.

During my linguistic studies, I have gained experience proofing and editing vast genres of texts and styles: Journalistic Editing, Translation Editing, Academic Texts, Content writing, and editing which requires imagination, versatility, and communication skills.

I am a written and graphic content editor who specializes in detailed and creative massaging.

I love the working process on a new text. I love being creative and exploring new bodies of knowledge, new languages, and new cultures. For me, the most important aspect of the editing process is the cognitive ‘ping-pong’ between my clients and me. I believe that when you are open to new thoughts, ideas, and opinions, you become a better thinker, more professional, and a better thinker. And I try to practice what I preach.

As a linguistic editor, and as a Hebrew speaker who grew up in Israel in the nineties, my target audience is culturally and demographically diverse. As someone who grew up in a secular and modern home, Israeli culture was instilled in me deeply, and it has had a profound effect on my memories and my essence as an Israeli who advocates cultural pluralism, and basic respect for every man and woman.

I believe that now, more than ever, we need a healing and uniting discourse. In my opinion, there is no better way to bring about change than through our language, which is our clearest reflection – as individuals and as a whole.
